Rebecca Calisi Rodríguez was awarded her M.S. from the University of Texas at Arlington in 2006 and completed her doctoral degree from UC Berkeley in 2010 under the supervision of Dr. George Bentley. She continued her postdoctoral training in the labs of John Wingfield (UC Davis) and Timothy Gentner (UC San Diego) from 2010-2013. Se also worked as a post-doctoral fellow in the labs of Erica Bree Rosenblum and Lance Kriegsfeld (UC Berkeley, 2013-2014). She was a faculty member in the Biology Department of Barnard College of Columbia University from 2014-2015 and joined the faculty of UC Davis in 2015. At UC Davis, she studies how the environment affects brain, behavior, & health. Calisi Rodríguez is a leader in advocating for inclusive and equitable environments in academia and beyond.
