Legacy iBiology Teaching Resources
iBiology has produced a trusted archive of free, high-quality talks and seminar videos to support biology education at the high school, undergraduate, and graduate levels. Many talks are accompanied by downloadable teaching tools—such as discussion questions, assessments, and curricular materials—developed in collaboration with educators.
These resources cover core topics like evolution, cell biology, immunology, and the scientific process. All materials are now freely accessible without a login.
Please note: This archive is no longer being updated, but remains available as a permanent resource for educators. Explore flipped curricula, seminars with teaching tools, recommended playlists, and browse our searchable catalog to bring research-based biology into your classroom.
Flipped Courses
We have arranged iBiology seminars into curricula that span introductory to advanced material in evolution, cell biology, and other topics. In these modular courses, students can explore core topics in biology by watching iBiology research videos as homework. Class time can be dedicated to in-depth discussion and problem-based learning guided by our PDF-downloadable assessments.
Seminars with Teaching Tools
iBiology and our collaborators have developed discussion questions, assessments, and other educator resources to accompany many of our individual video seminars. Unlike Flipped Courses, these resources are standalone and aren’t organized into a course curriculum
Recommended Playlists
We’ve put together some suggested video playlists for educators looking for material to supplement their biology courses. These videos do not have downloadable resources.
