Dr. Barry was a professor of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation and Bioengineering at the University of Michigan when he joined NASA in 1992. He flew three Space Shuttle missions, including two to the International Space Station. He was also a contestant on the Survivor reality television show. Barry now runs Denbar Robotics and is on faculty of Singularity University.
